BIJAPUR: All the nomination papers filed by 268 candidates for the zilla panchayat election have been found valid. Two papers were withdrawn on Tuesday. Elections are scheduled for December 23. Renuka Appasaheb Sivanayakar and Lakkavva Beerappa Myageri, who had filed nominations from Tikota and Shivanagi segments respectively, withdrew their papers. Wednesday is the last day for withdrawal of papers.
