NEW DELHI: A 20-member team, led by Baichung Bhutia, will represent India in the SAFF championship to be held in Karachi. India, placed in Group B with Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal, will open its campaign on Thursday against Nepal. Group A comprises Afghanistan, Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. The team: Goalkeepers: Sandeep Nandi, Kalyan Chaube and Felix D'Souza; Defenders: Surukumar Singh, Mahesh Gawli, N.S. Manju, N.P. Pradeep, Rajeeb Ahmed, M. Suresh and Mehrajuddin; Midfielders: S. Venkatesh, Climax Lawrence, Steven Dias, Mehtab Hussain, James Singh and K. Ajayan; Forwards: Baichung Bhutia, Syed Rahim Nabi, Abdul Hakim and Alvito D'Cunah.
