CPI volunteers stage dharna

Pondicherry: A batch of volunteers of the Communist Party of India (CPI) held a demonstration in front of the commune panchayat office in Villianoor near here seeking improvement of amenities and for the residents in the commune. A. Perumal, secretary of the Villianoor unit of the party, and chairperson of the commune unit of the National Federation of Indian Women, K.Jayalakshmi, were among those who participated.
