One of the gang members -- Md. Babu Shaik -- was caught and thrashed by the public while the other two --Alam and Kalu -- managed to escape. The police recovered a passport issued by the Bangladesh Government from Shaik. According to the police, the gang entered India from Bangladesh on November 29.
