Satyam plans operations in Nagpur
It has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited (MADC) for allotment of a 100-acre plot in the Special Economic Zone in Nagpur. With this, Satyam becomes the first global IT Company to announce their plans to enter in Nagpur. B. IT Innovation Award
The event will showcase five Innovative Emerging IT companies in India that have been short listed by eminent panelists from the industry. The first leg and second of the event were held in Pune and Bangalore on November 21 and November 28 respectively. NASSCOM has recognised four Hyderabad-based companies for its IT Innovation Award.
Agency appointed to prepare project report
The agency will be paid Rs. 2.5 crores by the State Government for preparing the detailed project report (DPR), designs, environmental impact assessment and the relief and rehabilitation (R & R) report. The project is aimed at irrigating 123 lakh acres of land in the Telangana districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Medak and Ranga Reddy besides providing 160 tmcft of water to the twin cities. - Special Correspondent
