Clearance for Devadula

HYDERABAD: The second and the last phase of the Rs 4,750-crore Godavari (Devadula) lift irrigation scheme, named after Chokka Rao, has secured forest and environmental clearance from the Centre.

The Ministry of Environment conveyed this to the State's officials in New Delhi on Tuesday. An official order is expected on Wednesday.
