HUBLI: Pramod Mutalik, who came out of the Shiv Sena recently following anti-Karnataka stand taken by the party supremo Bal Thackeray, launched a new political party, "Rashtriya Hindu Sena", here on Tuesday evening. Mr. Mutalik announced the name of the new party at a function held at the Indira Glass House here. The former Bajrang Dal leader slammed all political parties, especially the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for appeasing the minority community. Mr. Mutalik said named the new party by taking words from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Shiv Sena, with whom he was associated. He said he will always be a "Rashtriya Swayamsevak". He announced that the new party will fight against the "Ram droh" committed by the BJP. Mr. Mutalik said although 85 per cent of the people in the country are Hindus, there is not a single party dedicated for the cause of Hindus. The BJP claims to be a pro-Hindu party but has failed to safeguard the interests of Hindus, he alleged. His party will fight for the transfer of rights over Kailas Manasa Sarovar from China to India and will take up the issues of Mathura and Kashi. Mr. Mutalik criticised BJP President L.K. Advani and said his party will support the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti.
