CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Women and Child Development Department has decided to organise annual sports meet for girls and women, aged 17 and above, every year in each block of the State, an official spokesman said here on Tuesday. Three cash prizes of Rs. 500, Rs. 300 and Rs. 200 would be awarded to three winners, he added. These meets would be held during January and February. Banners, posters and flags related to child marriage, female foeticide, child labour, violence against women, Purdah system and drug addiction would be displayed.
