Rajahmundry: ONGC Rajahmundry Asset Manager A. A Khan has said that the first generation students should take Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as role model and learn lessons from his life. Addressing a meeting arranged at ONGC Base Complex during a free medical camp organized by ONGC on the occasion of 49th death anniversary of Dr.Ambedkar, he said that the leader of the nation rose from a poor family and became the architect of India's Constitution. He recalled that he was a revolutionary who worked for the downtrodden and asked the future generation to place him as a role model. Earlier ONGC Rajahmundry Asset paid floral tribute to Dr Ambedkar. Mr A A Khan and all other senior officers garlanded the Ambedkar statue on ONGC Base Complex premises.
Medical camp
On this occasion a free medical camp was organised in ONGC Base complex. More than 650 children from nearby tribal & SC/ST hostels and blind and handicapped children from ZION school attended the medical camp.
