Rajahmundry: New Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Rajahmundry (MCR), C. Surdarshan Reddy, who took charge on Monday evening said that creating basic amenities like water, drainage and urban housing were his priorities and he would concentrate on computerisation of records in the Corporation. He also said that the implementation of government programmes on schedule was also one of his priorities. Mr. Sudarshan Reddy belongs to the 2002 IAS batch and is the third IAS officer to the Rajahmundry Corporation and earlier he worked as trainee in Khammam and as project officer of ITDA, Paderu in Visakhapatnam district. Mr. Reddy said that as a top priority he would ensure that the water and drainage system were maintained properly.
