VIJAYAWADA: The Machavaram police on Tuesday arrested Kishore Kumar Jain and Jain Dilal of Rajasthan on the charge of cheating. The police said the accused tried to relieve a computer shop owner of Rs 2.39 lakhs by furnishing two fake demand drafts on purchase of two laptops. A case was registered.
Infant dies in hospital
A three-month-old boy died under suspicious circumstances while undergoing treatment at American Hospital in Suryaraopet on Tuesday. The police said that Naga Venkata Bhargav, son of Venki Reddy of Bharati Nagar was admitted to the hospital as he was suffering from pneumonia. The boy died while undergoing treatment.
Man found hanging
A welder died under suspicious circumstances at a private hospital in Penamaluru on Tuesday. The police said that Alapati Srinivasa Rao (34) of Yanamalakuduru was admitted to Nagarjuna Hospitals three days ago complaining restlessness. On Tuesday , the hospital staff found Rao's body hanging from the ceiling fan.
Youth found dead
A 20-year-old youth, Nerella Rajesh, died under suspicious circumstances in a lodge in Governorpet on Tuesday. The staff found Rajesh lying unconscious in his room.
