GUNTUR: `Save Energy Week' will be observed across the district from December 14 to 21 to highlight the need for saving energy for future generations, said Guntur Joint Collector Rahul Bojja. At a review meeting held here he instructed the officials to distribute handbills on the need to save energy and distribute among people. Various competitions like essay writing, elocution and painting would be conducted for school students on the need to conserve energy. NEDCAP District Manager G. Haranath Babu, Municipal Commissioner D.Rama Rao, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer V.Sudhakara Rao and others were present.
