Autorickshaw drivers booked

HYDERABAD: Special teams from the Legal Metrology and Transport departments on Tuesday booked 193 cases against autorickshaw drivers for meter tampering, demanding extra fare and for other offences under the Motor Vehicles Act.

The teams collected a compounding fee of Rs.43,600.

Raids will continue for next two days, according to a press release.
