Cultural competitions

The Thakur Hari Prasad Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for the mentally handicapped conducted competitions in dance, fancy dress and singing in connection with World Disabled Day on Tuesday. Nearly 120 mentally challenged children participated,

French classes

Professor's oration

Kumudini Mohan Ram, Professor Emeritus with Department of Physiology at the Deccan College of Medical Sciences, will deliver an oration at the national conference of the association to be held at JIPMER, Pondicherry, on December 13.

Focus India in March

Director of IICT J.S. Yadav on Tuesday said that Focus India 2006, a global conference on pharmaceutical R&D efficiencies [integrating global strategic partnerships], would be held here between March 15 and 16. Aim of Focus India is to showcase an analysis on Indian drug discovery and R&D capabilities to the international community. J.S.R. Durga Prasad, Chairman, Kasyap Technologies was present.
