NEW DELHI: Former World champion Ruslan Ponomariov, Russia's Alexander Grischuk and Sergei Rublevsky advanced to the quarterfinal of the World Cup chess championship at Khanty Mansiysk in Russia on Wednesday. The other five quarterfinalists will be known after the tiebreak games on Thursday.
