Six-year-old girl raped

HYDERABAD: An unidentified person allegedly raped a six-year-old girl, who was alone in the hut after her parents went out for work, on Wednesday at Sanathnagar.

The accused person, aged 25 years, came to the Shivalayam street on a bicycle around 2 p.m. He lured the girl to the nearby bushes along the railway track while she was going to attend nature's call, Sanathnagar Inspector V. Surender Reddy said.

Later, he sexually assaulted the girl and fled. Local people who saw the stranger pass by told the police that he was clad in jeans and a shirt. The girl was sent to hospital for medical examination.
