Strategy consultant for Balmer Lawrie

KOLKATA: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. has appointed ECS Ltd. as consultants to review the strategic plan prepared by the company for its restructuring, a company official said. The Managing Director, Balmer Lawrie, S. K. Mukherjee, told PTI that the mandate was given to ECS, which pipped other consultants such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, PwC, and Ernst & Young. ECS Limited is a 50:50 joint venture between Strategic Decision Group of the U.S. and Eicher Group of India.
