BANGALORE: Mavalli Tiffin Rooms, or MTR, as it is more popularly known, will promote its ready-to-eat products during the humour play festival, "MTR Ranga Sambhrama", which is to be organised in 45 places in the State, including Bangalore. It will prepare dishes using its popular "ready mixes" and distribute them among members of the audience. The plays will be staged by the Bangalore-based theatre group, Guru Institute of Yashwanth Sirdeshpande. The festival starts in Hubli on Friday, and shows in Shimoga, Davangere and Bellary will follow. "It will be a nice experience for people. They will not only get to enjoy healthy comedy but also hygienic food offered by MTR," Mr. Sirdeshpande says. The plays will be staged by an 18-member troupe of the Guru Institute, which includes Mr. Sirdeshpande. Three popular plays "All the Best", "Rashi Chakra", and "Sahi Re Sahi" and a new play, "Dil Mange More", will be staged.
