Collector appeals to voters

Forms for inclusion available with field personnel

ERODE: All eligible voters can enrol their names in voters' list, Collector D. Karthikeyan said on Thursday.

In a press release, he said that draft voters' list was released on September 15.

From October 24, Municipal Bill Collectors in municipal areas and Village Administrative Officers in rural areas are going door to door for verification.

Those who have completed 18 years of age could collect Form 6 (for inclusion of voters' names) from the field personnel. These could be filled and returned within three days.

Those who shifted their residences and whose names were not in the list, can collect two Form 8A and return them to the same person within three days after filling. The Collector said that sufficient forms were available with the field personnel.
