Gulbarga: Five of a family were found dead in Kusampalli Tanda in Chincholi taluk on Wednesday. Police gave their names as Banni Hamji Rathod (24), his wife Anusuyabai (22), and his children Saraswathi (5), Dhuli alias Parbathi (3), and Jayapal (four months). Banni's father Ramoji said his son suspected Anasuya's fidelity and killed her and the children, before committing suicide. Anasuya's father Shankar said Ramoji killed them over an old family dispute. According to the neighbours, Banni suspected his wife's fidelity and fought with her frequently. On Wednesday night, Banni reportedly poisoned the food and committed suicide. The bodies were found on Thursday. A case has been registered.
