Jockeys fined
MYSORE: S. Rajesh, rider of Winning Attitude, was fined Rs 1000 for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post in the Crown Treasure Plate (1,100m), run here on Dec. 7.
J. Paswan, rider of Satin Slipper, was fined Rs.1,000 for not persevering with his mount during the race.
The stewards have opened an enquiry into the running and riding of the Darashah trained Queen Of Destiny (Chunilal up).
Vijay Kumar, rider of Grand Pere, was fined Rs.1,000 for excessive use of the whip during the Pattadakal Plate race (first infringement).
Md.Yasin, rider of Little Genny, was fined Rs.1,000 for not having control over his mount when it drifted `out' in the last 300m in the Nandidurga Plate.
