Benefits distributed to construction workers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board distributed benefits valued at Rs.25.6 lakhs to construction workers at a district-level adalat held here in the past two days, the board said in a press release on Thursday.

The adalat handled 827 applications that had been remaining unaddressed with the board for some time for want of supporting documents or owing to dispute over eligibility.
