Emerging trends in cryptography will be the main focus of the five-day international conference of Cryptographers who have assembled in Chennai. The participants, from 30 countries, are to discuss the latest technical facets on protecting "secrecy" in the cyber world C. Pandu Rangan, Professor in the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, will be the Chair of the five-day meet in Chennai. The participants and the deliberation topics have been cleared by the Union Ministry of External Affairs. Christened "Asiacrypt 2005," the conference will be attendedby 200 delegates.
