Cultural studies seminars

Roja Muthiah Research Trust (RMRLT) Chennai is conducting a series of seminars and workshops on areas related to Cultural Studies, History, Tamil language, literature and folklore.

The first in the series, `Regionality, Identity and History writing', funded by the Ford Foundation, is being held on December 8 and 9.

M.Anandakrishnan, Chairman, Madras Institute of Development Studies will inaugurate the seminar at 9 a.m. on Thursday, and Sudharshan Seneviratne, Prof. of Archaeology, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, will deliver the keynote address.
