NEW DELHI: After finishing two rounds without a point, Delhi and Maharashtra will hope to make the most of their Elite Group A Ranji Trophy league match starting at the Jamia Millia ground on Friday. The loss against Bengal last week prompted the Delhi team to go for new talent, and the promising batsman Mayank Tehlan is all set to make debut at number three. Delhi skipper Amit Bhandari spoke about the green top, "We want to give chance to our bowlers and hope for Aakash (Chopra) and Mithun (Manhas) to score big," said Bhandari. The Maharashtra captain Hrishikesh Kanitkar too exuded confidence on the eve of the match. "It is a good opportunity for us to get more points. Munaf (Patel) has bowled with accuracy. The presence of Sairaj (Bahutule) lends more quality to our bowling attack," observed Kanitkar. The teams (from): Delhi: Amit Bhandari (capt.), Aakash Chopra, Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Tehlan, Mithun Manhas, Rajat Bhatia, Pradeep Chawla, Kuldeep Rawat, Rahul Sanghvi, Chetnya Nanda, Yogesh Sachdeva, Kuunal Lall, Mukesh Dewan, Aditya Jain and Varun Kumar.
