Women cab drivers to greet tourists

NEW DELHI: From today ( Friday), tourists from abroad to Delhi will be greeted by ``Priyadarshini'' comprising women taxi drivers and guides thorough with foreign languages to drive and show them around.

The Government's scheme christened ``Priyadarshini'' envisaging women cab drivers and trained guides knowing foreign language will be launched here under the ``Incredible India'' campaign to further promote the tourism sector already experiencing unprecedented boom.- PTI
