22 Lashkar - e -Taiba men arrested
Srinagar:
The Jammu and Kashmir police have busted a major Pakistan-based Lashker-e-Taiba module arresting 22 of its members, including the main person allegedly responsible for the attack on a rally addressed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last year and recent assassination of a State Minister.
One of the major networks of LeT fell into the effective and intelligence-driven dragnet and now the police were busy in ascertaining whether they had any role to play in the blasts at Delhi on October 29. K. Ranjendra, IG (Kashmir range), told PTI that the recently arrested 22 persons included Shabir Bukhari who was allegedly involved in ferrying militants from Bandipore to carry out attacks in November 2004 .
