Gandhian turns centenarian

CHENNAI:
Gandhian-journalist, M.P. Srinivasan, turns centenarian on Friday.
A former chief sub-editor of the famous Swadesamitran daily, Mr. Srinivasan had served the newspaper in different capacities for nearly four decades.
He retired from service in 1964.
Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Rajaji, he had written vividly on various phases of the freedom struggle and events leading to Independence.
He authored a Tamil book on Rajaji. A disciplinarian, Mr. Srinivasan is known for simplicity.
He now lives at Nanganallur (28th street). His family consists of over 30 members, including three sons and two daughters.
