Bharati Utsav

A three-day Bharati Utsav is being organised by Alapana in association with Habasit Iakoka, Rasanai monthly magazine and Dinamalar Tamil daily from December 9. Exponents on Bharati's works aim the utsav to provide literary lovers an opportunity to have a feel of the works of the poet through various programmes at Annapoorna Kalaiarangam in R.S. Puram. Helpline

A helpline for extending assistance during natural calamities will function round-the-clock at the Corporation main office. The public could dial the helpline at 2302323 for availing services. It could be accessed even for registering complaints regarding services to be rendered by the Corporation.

Coaching class

For the benefit of candidates appearing for Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission Examinations-Group IV, scheduled for December 18, the Assistant Director, District Employment Exchange in association with voluntary education circle has organised a three-day coaching class at the District Employment office from Dec. 14 to 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Grievances meeting

The Director of Sericulture has ordered for conduct of grievances meeting for mulberry farmers at regular intervals. In accordance with the directive, a meeting farmers in Coimbatore district will be conducted on the third Tuesdays of every month at 11 a.m. at the office of the Assistant Director of Sericulture on Dr.Balasundaram Road. The grievances meeting for the month will be held on Dec 20.
