HYDERABAD: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials on Thursday brought back Bollywood actress Monica Bedi, who was facing charges of securing passports under fake names, from Bhopal to Chanchalguda Central Prison here. Meanwhile, the police took the accused in the Paritala Ravi murder case, J. Srinivas Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu, from the Chanchalguda Central Prison to Anantapur Two Town police station for questioning. Bedi was brought to Hyderabad a month ago for questioning in connection with the passport fraud case soon after her extradition from Portugal to India. After being lodged in the jail and questioned by the CBI, she was taken to Bhopal last Friday for interrogation in another case pending there. Moddu Sreenu, who had been eluding the CBI after allegedly gunning down the MLA 11 months ago, got caught when a booby trap he was preparing went off in his hands in a lodge at Chandanagar a few days ago.
