WASHINGTON: China and the United States concluded the second round of strategic talks here on Thursday, acknowledging their increasing common interests and vowing to further cooperation. During the two-day meeting, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick focused their discussions on international situation, bilateral relations as well as major world and regional issues of common concern. The talks were conducted in a strategic context with candid and constructive exchange of views and were believed to have improved mutual understanding. Xinhua
