Bartronics India plans R & D centre

CHENNAI: Bartronics India, engaged in the business of automatic identification and data capture, proposes to set up a research and development technology centre. The company also proposes to enlarge its branch network in the overseas as well as domestic markets. It proposes to invest around Rs. 32.50 crore for this expansion to meet the growing demand for its technology in India and abroad, says a release. To part finance the expansion, the company is entering the capital market with an initial public offer of 65 lakh equity shares through the book building process.
