Indians finish with a flourish

KOLKATA : Indian eves completed the domination over their English counterparts, winning the last match by 38 runs at the Eden Gardens to wrap up the series 4-1 here on Friday.

Karuna Jain scored a chanceless century (103) to help the host make 243 for four in the stipulated 50 overs.

England, missing a few key players owing to injuries, could not make a good start and never really recovered.

Karuna was named the `eve of the match,' which was the second time in three matches in the series. She also received the `player of the tournament' jointly with Jhulan.
