This "Bluffmaster'' is rather different

Will it inspire the audience ?

NEW DELHI: It's not often that the music of a Hindi film also comes with a story of its own. Well, Rohan Sippy's "Bluffmaster'' does. And it has to it more than just the tale of how Rohan managed to get half a dozen musicians from across the world working on his film to give it a "cool" sound.

While Internet helped him crack the connection problem, the film's now most popular track, "Right here right now'', by Abhishek Bachchan was, in Sippy's word, actually not planned.

"When we started out in May, even the music industry people were not sure what kind of music would click in the market. So eventually we just decided to go by our heart and what we like. The remixes have been used mainly as a background score and have a very different feel to them. We went by our heart and I am really happy that it's doing well on the charts,'' said Rohan, who was in Delhi to promote his film on Thursday.

While the remix of the famous Mahmood song "Sabse bada rupaiya'' was always on the cards, Rohan admits that the rap song by Abhishek was not planned.

"When Vishal and Shekhar gave us the tune, we simply loved it. We wanted a heavy voice for it and Abhishek decided to give it a try. In fact, Vishal's voice had really sounded good and we had kept it as a backup in case Abhishek did not sound good. But Abhishek recorded the song in 30 minutes flat. We were so happy with the original that we decided to do a remix version of the song with rap parts thrown in,'' he revealed.

With the UK-based Trickbaby, Scandinavian Aneela Mirza and Arash, Sameeruddin and the hit "Dus'' duo Vishal and Shekhar giving the film a "different'' feel, "Bluffmaster'' has clearly set a trend. The question is: will it inspire the audience enough to come `fishing' in Sippy's con world next Friday?
