PATHANAMTHITTA: Kerala Congress(Joseph) chairman P.J. Joseph on Friday said that the Kerala Congress(M) led by Revenue Minister K.M. Mani was the party that suffered the worst set back in the local body elections. Inaugurating the two-day State leadership camp of the party at the Mar Thoma Youth Centre in Adoor on Friday, Mr. Joseph said that the coming Assembly election would be the waterloo of Mr. Mani and his party. He said that the KC(J) would organise public meetings and marches with a view to strengthening and activating the party machinery as a prelude to the Assembly elections. Mr. Joseph said that only a steady growth in the agriculture sector could solve the unemployment problem in the State. K.C. Joseph, MLA, presided over the inaugural meeting. P.C. Thomas, MP, delivered the keynote address. Idukki MP Francis George, party leaders Vakkachan Mattathil, Scaria Thomas, Mons Joseph, P.C. Joseph, Antony Raju, George Sebastian, Kulathoor Kunjukrishna Pillai, P.J. Lukose, K.V. Surendran Pillai, D.K. John and Kunjukoshy Paul also addressed the camp.
