KHAMMAM: The Manuguru Heavy Water Plant will organise an offsite emergency exercise on December 16. The local police and revenue machinery would be involved in organising the mock exercise, which is aimed at keeping the people acquainted with the dos and don'ts in case of leakage of gases. The residents in the selected villages will be educated about the steps to be taken to reach the emergency shelters safely.
