BHOPAL: A conference of Non-Resident Indians will be convened shortly to attract them to invest in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in the Information Technology sector, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday. About 500 NRIs will be invited to the ``Destination MP Conference'' to explore the possibilities of NRI investment in the IT sector and other fields, he said. The State Government has initiated multi-pronged action to promote IT sector and the first Information Technology policy of Madhya Pradesh will be announced soon, the Chief Minister said. With a target to attract investment of about rupees one lakh crore in the industrial sector in the next three years, the Government is developing technology park and gem and jewellery park at Indore, food parks at Mandsaur, Khargone, Chhindwara, Bhind and Hoshangabad.
