Book festival

The Strand Book Festival at M. Chinnaswamy stadium has displayed several rare reference works and titles in several other subjects, ranging from fiction to philosophy. The festival will be open through the weekend and most books carry attractive discounts.

Orphans' Day

Catholic Club will observe `Orphans' Day' on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will start with breakfast and continue with games, lunch, music, distribution of gifts and toys for over 600 children from various orphanages in the city. Details can be had on 25599189/ 25587593/ 25598943.

Throwball tournament
