Protest day planned

NEW DELHI: All central trade unions will observe December 20 as an all- India protest day to express their unhappiness with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's "noncommittal statement" on the EPF rate. The unions feel he has merely said he will discuss the matter with the Labour Minister and there is no commitment from his side.
