Just drop in at the premier travel and tourism exhibition at the Sri Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Stadium, Yousufguda, and finalise your travel plans. The three-day exhibition, which opened on Saturday, offers information about various tourist destinations both within and outside the country.
Participants
Organised by the India International Travel Mart (IITM), the exhibition has 72 stalls with participants from Iran, Indonesia, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Europe. Besides, there are tourism stalls from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chattisgarh. "The idea is to present travel information and bring travel agents of different places under one roof. One can chalk out ones tourism plans here and also avail the discount," said Anurag Gupta Director IITM. The exhibition being held in Hyderabad for the last four years has proved very successful. "We expect to do a business of about Rs. 3 crores during these three days," Mr. Gupta said. Hossein Ravesh, Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Hyderabad, inaugurated the exhibition.
