Two sentenced

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Additional Sessions Judge Fast Track Court II Immanuel P. Kolladi on Wednesday sentenced two persons to rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and a fine of Rs.5,000 for possessing counterfeit notes in May 1995.

In case of default of payment, the accused have to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one more year.

The prosecution case was that Vijayakumar, 57, a resident of Kunnathukal, Malayinkavu, and Galim alias Karim, 57, a resident of Palkulangara, stashed counterfeit notes at their house.
