AIDWA opposes move to hike LPG price

VISAKHAPATNAM: The city committee of All-India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) has opposed the move to increase the price of LPG by Rs.100 in the next few months and that of kerosene by Re.1 a litre to those below poverty line (BPL) and by Rs. 6 for others.

The burden caused by the hike would further aggravate the hardship of people already struggling to make both ends meet because of the abnormal rise in prices, city AIDWA president A.V. Padmavathi said.
