Somashekar, Manasa triumph

Mysore: Somashekar of Victoria HS (9 min. 53 secs) won the three-km race for boys while B. Manasa of CFTRI School (8 min 37 secs) won the three-km race for girls in the city-level high school road race for boys and girls at the University Oval grounds here on Saturday.

The results:

Boys (Three km): 1. Somashekar (Victoria HS); 2. S. Karthik (DMS HS); 3. Manjunath (Vaishali HS). Team championship: Demonstration High School.

Girls: (Two km): 1. B. Manasa (CFTRI); 2. Asha (Rajendra School); 3. Nagalambhika N.K (Inst.of Eng. HS). Team championship: Hootagalli HS.
