1,006 policemen for Sannidhanam

500 constables for Pampa

PATHANAMTHITTA: A total of 1,006 police constables will be deployed at Sabarimala Sannidhanam in the third phase of police deployment in the holy shrine, which begins on Tuesday, according to official sources.

This is besides the deployment of 11 deputy superintendents of police, 39 circle inspectors and 100 sub-inspectors at Sannidhanam, under Police Special Officer A.R. Ajithkumar, from Tuesday.

A new batch of 500 police constables, led by the Special Officer T. Vikram, has arrived in Pampa to assume charge in the third phase that begins on Tuesday.

Senior officials

A total of nine deputy superintendents of police, 19 circle inspectors and 68 sub-inspectors have also been posted for duty in Pampa in the third phase, according to official sources.
