Jockey suspended

BANGALORE : C. Krishnan, rider of World of Dreams, in the Sirsi Plate (Div. II) run on Dec. 10, was suspended for the period Dec. 20 to 23 (both days inclusive) for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (3rd infringement during the meeting).

In the Royal Calcutta Turf Club Cup, Vivek (Connaught Square) was fined Rs. 1,000 for causing interference to Dilaawar (Suraj Narredu) during the race.

In the Harvins Bangalore 2000 Guineas, S. Fargeat (Democraticus) was fined Rs. 1,000 for crowding the horses on his inside soon after the start.

In the Belgaum Plate, M. Narredu (Aashirwaad) was fined Rs. 1,000 for causing interference to Razpazazz (Srinath) during the race. In the Davangere Plate, Trainer Faraz Arshad was fined Rs. 2,000 for the inordinate delay in declaring a substitute in place of Shakti Singh the declared rider.

In the Honnavar Plate (Div. II) held on Dec. 9, Shakti Singh (Tribal Lady) was fined Rs. 2,000 for repeatedly changing course in the straight. In the Saddle Up Plate, Guruprasad (Daddy's Darling) was fined Rs. 2,000 for repeatedly checking his mount during the early stages of the race for no apparent reason. In the Parfait Amour Plate, Srinath (Dingle) was fined Rs. 3,000 for coming in sharply before passing the red mark post and causing interference to Force Furor (Suraj Narredu) on his inside which passed it on to Simply Glorious (R. Marshall) which had to be checked by its rider.
