Kanshi Ram unable to communicate, court told
New Delhi:
The Supreme Court was informed by a team of doctors from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences on Monday that the ailing Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram was not in a position to communicate.
After going through a medical report in this regard, a Bench comprising Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and Justice P.P. Naolekar said that the ageing leader should be given the best treatment.
''His interest is paramount and we will see where he will get the best treatment," the Bench observed and posted the matter for hearing in the third week of January.
A team of doctors from the Department of Clinical Psychology and Neurology at AIIMS had examined the veteran leader under the apex court's direction . — PTI
