Ahmedabad: Foolproof security arrangements have been made at the Sardar Patel Stadium at Motera for the third and the final cricket Test between India and Sri Lanka, beginning on Sunday, official sources said. "State home secretary and the top brass of Gujarat police had held discussion with Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) members on Monday regarding security arrangement for the cricket match," GCA president Narhari Amin said on Tuesday. "About 500 policemen from the State Reserve Police, Gujarat Police and others will be deployed at the stadium for security, while men from city's fire brigade department will be in charge of checking tickets," Amin said. "We will not allow spectators to take water bottles, cameras, posters, eatables and other similar things inside the stadium," he said. The final match of the Indo-Lanka series will also be the 100th Test outing for veteran leg-spinner Anil Kumble. PTI
