Database for independent directors

CHENNAI: The Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry has created a database of representatives from industry, tax professionals, advocates, software experts and consultants for consideration by listed companies looking for independent directors. The chamber is also planning to conduct a series of training programmes on independent directors. The first training programme will be held from December 14 to 16.
