Northeast monsoon vigorous over T.N.

CHENNAI: Northeast monsoon has been vigorous over Tamil Nadu. Rainfall occurred at many places over Tamil Nadu and at a few places over Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and south interior Karnataka and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Forecast (Valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
