Commendable

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's assertion that any interest rate that has to be paid has to come out of the resources of the EPF organisation and that there is no scope for budgetary support is highly commendable. Why should the government subsidise the employees in the organised sector who are already paid reasonable wages and are covered by a social security scheme such as the EPF while a vast majority of our population lives below the poverty line without any security?
